Steve's experience in helping organizations, teams and individual leaders develop increased leadership effectiveness, combined with his resourcefulness and creativity; enable him to generate innovative solutions to client challenges. Prior to founding Aspire Consulting, Steve was Executive Director of Consulting Services for Executive Development Associates, a leading consulting and education firm specializing in the strategic use of executive and leadership development. While with EDA, and as head of The Leadership Practice for Dove Consulting, Steve worked with a wide range of global corporate clients, such as Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Bank of America, Fidelity Investments, Forest Laboratories, Johnson & Johnson, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Schick, and Warner Lambert, to define leadership capabilities required to enhance strategic advantage, and in the design and delivery of programs to build leadership capabilities at senior levels. At Dove, he developed innovative, new techniques and tools that leveraged the power of the internet to quickly identify and deploy leadership standards, and used 360° feedback for development, performancemanagement, selection interviewing and leadership development programs. Steve's experience as a Senior Manager with Andersen Consulting's (now Accenture) Change Management Practice, and as a Senior Vice President in Leadership Development at Bank of America (formerly NationsBank Corporation), have led to custom-designed approaches and methodologies that are innovative and practical, and that deliver immediate results. While with Andersen he worked with clients such as American Express, Australian Mutual Provident Society, Bankers Trust, and JPMorgan to develop the leadership effectiveness of senior leaders. With over 20 years of experience in consulting and leadership development, in both the private and public sectors, Steve possesses broad capabilities and rich resources in a wide range of development approaches and methodologies, including Action Learning, 360° Assessment, Feedback and Coaching, Executive Coaching, Leadership Success Profile Development and Deployment, Organization Development, Team Development, Vision Creation, Strategic Planning, and Training Needs Assessment, Design, Development and Delivery. |
